Swedish model

Den svenska modellen – åtråvärd, framgångsrik och tidlös. Det svenska modeundret sträcker sig längre än till bara kläder och design. 2009 var året då 101 av Sveriges nya, unga och lovande modelltalanger fångades på bild i en liten studio på Kocksgatan i Stockholm. Ett projekt som mynnade ut i fotoboken "The Swedish Model". Tillsammans med utvalda stylister, hår och- makeupartister har fotograf Patrik Thalén, i en blandning av modefoto och porträtt, försökt fånga det unikt vackra hos varje modell. Vad som sedan egentligen är vackert, ligger i betraktarens ögon.

Ser Dig Se Mig (Böcker)

Photographer Moa Karlberg has hidden on the backside of a mirror window. Where by-passers have quickly glanced at themselves in the mirror, Karlberg has caught their fast glance and faces totally unawared of being watched. Ser dig se mig gives a strange feeling of people without attitude or suspicion. The book is a labour of love with siver text and white linen cloth binding and comes highly recommended in an edition of 800 only. With foreword by Christopher Holmbäck.

Sölvpil (Böcker)

Jon Nordstrøm, the man behind 2009s wonderful Danish Tattooing is back with another labour of love: Sølvpil. The word means Silver arrow in English, and its the name of the Danish high speed train that ran the tracks 1963-1990 and was part of the West European train network Tran Europe Express (yes, you guessed it, thats what Kraftwerks song is all about). The Sølvpil became a legend within its life time, rare silver trains shine like nuggets. Sølvpil later operated in Poland, and in this book, photographers Jon Nordstrøm and Per Johanesn give the trainspotter all he can ask for. Wonderful esthetic photography that portrays the train in use, the details, the passengers and the second life, the train cut in pieces functioning as a dressing room for a soccer team. A true treasure for both photography, design and train lovers.

Kasino (Böcker)

The KASINO CREATIVE ANNUAL is a series of stand-alone publications each of which offers an engaging point-of-view on one specific topic. The first Kasino Annual — ABOUT HAIR, focuses on the aesthetic, biological and cultural aspects of hair, revealing insights into human nature, the general way we are and, essentially, creativity. The topic is really grabbed by the proverbial short hairs! The annual is also a follow-up to the KASINO A4 magazine aka. The Most Melancholy Magazine, which was launched in December 2005 and ended with the tenth issue published in October 2009.

Zine Soup (Böcker)

Zine Soup consists of material from over 80 zine artist from around the world. They are presented through images and text. Zine Soup holds a wide range of artistic and graphic zines and the people behind them. Four large interviews (Mike Diana, Alex Lukas, Islands Fold and Smittekilde), and ten shorter interviews let the reader behind the thoughts and motivation of these dedicated artists. All covers are different colored and the books are hand numbered in an edition of 1000 copies.
